Mayfield Track & Field Qualifies Six to the OHSAA State Championships

Six Mayfield Wildcats qualified for the 2026 OHSAA Division II State Track & Field Championships at Ohio State's Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on June 6th and 7th. Izzy Austin lead the way as the Regional runner-up in the high jump and the first Mayfield high jumper to qualify for the state meet since 1961. Hurdler Emma Di Sanza qualified in the 100 M Hurdles and the boys 4x100 M Relay of Jayden Haynes, Kingston Murchison, Ryan Eppich, and Landon Cornelius qualified too.
